The Pool Is Open for the Season

Greetings Indian Acres Families!
We are happy to announce the opening of our swimming pool this weekend!

Days of operation are as follows:

May 30th, 31st
June 6th, 7th 10th – 30th July 1st – 31st
August 1st – 30th September 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th

Hours of operation are as follows:

11:00 am to 6 pm Sunday through Thursday
11:00 am to 8 pm – Fridays, Saturdays, and Holidays

Due to the virus pandemic, we are required to follow strict guidelines set forth by the State of Maryland. These directives from the Secretary of Maryland Department of Health may change throughout the season.

Everyone must comply with the following:

1. No more than 150 people will be allowed inside the pool area at one time.
2. Everyone must sign in upon entering the pool area.
3. Social distancing will be required in the pool and on the deck.
4. No toys, floatation devices, noodles or kickboards will be allowed at this time.
5. Face masks are recommended in the pool area but not in the pool for all those over the age of 12
6. The wading pool will be closed.
7. No more than 1 person or 1 parent with a child will be permitted in the bathrooms at one time. A spray bottle with disinfectant will be available in each bathroom. Please disinfect anything that was touched.
8. Bring your own chairs.
9. The lifeguards will be disinfecting gates, ladders and bathroom fixtures every 2 hours. This may cause a mandatory reduction of swimmers in the pool, possibly an adult swim for 10 – 15 minutes as this is performed.

10. Hand sanitizer will be available upon entrance. Feel free to use it.
